SVN setup in Eclipse


1.    Open Eclipse IDE and select Help -> Software Updates Project. This will open “Software Updates and Add-ons” wizard.

2.    Click Add Site button and the following URL to download the SVN plugin for Eclipse.




3.    After clicking OK button the site is added.




4.    Select the checkbox against the URL entered, this will check all its subcomponents checkboxes automatically, and click Install button to proceed further with the plug-in installation.


5.    After analyzing the URL it will open the following window displaying all the components that it can install from the selected URL, click Finish button to finish the installation.




6.    Once the installation is completed it will ask for the reboot of the eclipse, click “Yes” button to restart the eclipse. It will automatically restart the eclipse.


7.    Once the eclipse is restarted, select the Window >> View >> SVN Repositories option, it will show the SVN Repositories window on left side.


8.    In the SVN Repositories window Right Click and select New >> Repository Location option, it will open the new window. In the URL Enter the following URLs based on from which office you are doing this, and click Finish button.
